What does C.A.P mean?
C.A.P. stands for Cuban American Princess, because after all, aren't we all Princesses/Princes? While this is sometimes used in a derogatory way, I OWN it, I am Cuban, I am American, and I may want to be a Princess, but I work like a hustler (definition: an aggressively enterprising person; a go-getter) to make YOU feel and look your best!

Originally from Miami, Melissa has proudly called Gainesville home for many years since attending the University of Florida. With a deep-rooted passion for patient care, she began her career as an ER nurse—supporting individuals through some of their most critical moments. Since 2012, she has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner in both Family Practice and Women’s Health.
Melissa’s journey into aesthetics began in 2015, training with one of the top injectors in the Naples area. Since then, she has pursued advanced training with some of the most respected names in the aesthetic industry. Her clinical background ensures that she not only masters the art of injection but is also trained in managing complications—something she believes every responsible injector should be prepared for. “If anyone tells you there are no risks, run away—there are always risks!”
In addition to aesthetics, Melissa has a strong foundation in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT). She began her BHRT training in 2020 as a Biote provider, reaching Platinum status, and has completed all five advanced training modules with WorldLink Medical, as well as specialized training with Pro-Pell Therapy. She attends annual hormone conferences and regularly collaborates with other hormone providers on complex cases to ensure her patients receive the most up-to-date, comprehensive care. Hormones are intricate and are not taught in traditional medicine—requiring specialized training. Melissa is committed to helping her patients understand and manage hormones to live healthier, more vibrant lives.
